I upgraded my 14 hour to 54 hour with the addition of a $125 30GB harddrive. I can't find the link off hand but will get it if you like. It was very easy to do. They have built a boot disk that initializes the extra drive. The nice thing about the 14 hour unit is that it has only 1 HD. It basically runs linux. Tivo does not care about hardware so they do not try to stop this. Of course it voids warranty but after 90 days your on your own anyway.
