Cant get slink control to work on ASP page

I have written lots of simple .vbs files and tested them with WSH and everything is fine. However as soon as I try and create the slinkx object from any ASP page (I've tried on W2K and NT4), the web browser never comes back, and inetinfo.exe goes to 90% CPU until I kill it. I just downloaded the 6/20 version with the same results.

Here is a sample .asp segment - as soon as it gets to the CreateObject, its all over.

What trick am I missing here? I planned on rebuilding the control to get symbols so I could debug it, but there isn't enough source code to rebuild the project in the download (callback.h is missing).
