You need to have the cdjr device loaded and be able to receive messages via the SlinkeDeviceEvent. All CDJ responses (and the SlinkX architecture in general) is asynchronous. Any requests for information are not returned by the Send() method you used to ask for them, but a SlinkeDeviceEvent() sent in response at some later time. The return value for Send() merely indicates that a command was sent successfully (or not).
