I'll have to check into this. Last time I tested all of these a couple weeks ago they seemed to work fine. In the example you just gave, it is not necessary to examine every slot. If you put the discs back into locations that were known to CDJ to be empty before, it will find them using the "Only look in slots CDJ isn't sure about" option which is considerably faster. You could speed this up even more by limiting it to just the one player that you put them in or justthe range of slot numbers that they were placed in.

Are all of your players showing up correctly in the player view? Does CDJ think that they have the correct disc capacity? Are you sure the discs are not in backwards? Why don't you send me a copy of your library and the log file from a search, along with some text telling me where at least one of the discs is located that you were looking to find. I could help solve the problem with that info.
