CDJ not recognizing moved discs...

This past weekend, I went on a road trip, and took a bunch of cds with me. Upon returning, I just stuffed them back into a different player, filling some gaps. I told CDJ to examine every slot (tedius) in every player, and left it to go. When it was done, it still thought the discs were in their old slots, and it would get errors ("Invalid disc number") when trying to play them.

I downloaded the latest version today (the 9/22 one), and again ran the search, with no luck. Though this time the discs changed to "Unknown location" at least, whereas before they kept their (incorrect) slot assignments. Seems CDJ isn't locating discs when they move.
