I think I may see what is happening.
I do have my system set up for random (and I'm in the practice of often adding things to the playlist. By having it set to random, when it runs out of things I added, the random feature takes over).
I also have it so that only 2 "played" songs and 12 "to be played" songs are in the playlist.
What may be happening is that when I shuffle the playlist, if the active song falls below the second entry, it removes anything before it (except 2) since it assumes they have been played.
Assuming this is what is happening, would it be possible to always have the active song remain at the top of the playlist when shuffling?
