I got it to work. Just need to make sure the CDJ Options/Slink-e/"Use Slinkeserv" button is turned on. After a couple of hours of re-reading all the help and text files, un-loading, re-laoding software, it came down to the "turn ever button on until something happens" approach. Some of this "Active X"/"Slink X" stuff is a bit over my head.
