You can use dcom without a domain server, but it is not trivial.

Try searching Yahoo for VNC. Go to the site for VNC. Download the product. Put the server module (install it) onto the system running CDJ. Put the client on your other PC's. VNC is network level PCF anywhere. Several of us are using it.
