Since I already did this for the initial creation of the data base with the artist, title, & track info ... I'm hoping that you can tell me that the mangled fields would be things like the time last played or something that won't really matter until you start defining other fields than the basic CDDB info.
My preferred method would have been to use Access 97 to edit the data base. Since Access 97 couldn't open the data base (which other messages on this forum suggest is due to compaction which I can't force off), editing the text data base was my second choice.
Is their any possibility of turning off automatic compaction of larger data bases in a future revision? (assuming this is the problem)
