It does use the long CDJID's, but sinse Access 2000 still says "created using older version of Access - can't make changes) I presume(d) the format didn't change. My Personal VB apps also continued to work as I always use ADO. So I guess the answer to the previous question is; just use ADO and NOT DAO, as ADO replaced DAO and is the "preffered" database access methode.... :-) Responses To This Message
