NO you don't have to be atechie to use it. You need to download and install the software from our web page and then hook the Slink-e to your computer an to the changers. CDJ will inventory your cahngers and look up all the disc titles on the web. After that you just listen to your music. The GrayWolf system operates via IR so it doesn't have any idea what the player is actually doing. It is very cude in that sense. It won't catalog your discs and generally will leave big gaps between tracks.
