Sony CX350 and groups and gripes

OK, so I've just realized that the only thing you can upload to the 350 from CDJ is the album title. How stupid of Sony. When using the CD player without CDJ, how can I remember the name of every album and cross link it in my brain to the artist. Not having the track is crazy, too. Sure I can control all this from the PC, but try explaining that to my wife (not a computer person) when she sits down to play a CD with the remote!!!

So, I have 3 questions: 1) Is there an affordable player that does have this capability? 2) Can you upload group info to the 350 - so I can at least group different categories of music in CDJ and upload it to the player? 3) Why did Sony design the player this way? Are they trying to drive sales of CD text CDs for some reason?
