It's funny. I'm in the same boat. One thing that I've started playing with is creating an XMLHTTP interface for CDJ. That would enable anyone (even cross platform) to send commands to CDJ from another computer. I don't have much time to play with this anymore, but if someone else wanted to do that I think that it would solve the DCOM problems.
