Ah! True! But when I use my cd players w/o CDJ, I like to be able to listen to the discs in their sorted orders (ie: metal w/ metal, alt w/ alt, classical w/ classical, etc...) And because I have "roving groups" (I have multiple metal blocks where the "metal-ness" of the band melts into a different genre (ie: Type O negative into metallica into van halen into Fastball into Sarah McLachlin, into Paula Abdul, for instance (it goes from death rock into alt into fem-rock, let's say).)

That's why I do it. I like keeping my genres in the right place. :)

If it weren't for that, I'd gladly have CDJ do the work for me! (also I think in my lower number players (1 and 2), I had the discs sorted and in those little black books SONY gives you, but as I can't find the books right now, I'm afraid that when I find the book, and reference the book one day for a cd, it won't be remotely near the same spot.

Anyway, those are just my thoughts on it. It would be nice if CDJ would at least ask "CD: Wild West Soundtrack in spot P2:097 is in the database as belonging in spot P3:212. Would you like to MOVE the cd manually, or REASSIGN the cd to spot P2:097?"
