Well as for the Hmm problem i was able to get rid of 98% of the hum by running A wire from the case of the computer to the case of the pre-amp. much the way a turn-table did. this was a poor mans trick as the wife is on me about spending money on new stero stuff! What this does is make the computer and the pre-amp the same ground potential. It may work for some and not others just depends on a lot of things! Does anyone know if sony make a cd player that plays CD+G cd's? Thanks Colby for the fine work you do! I just added a mixer to my system Picked it up cheap at a pawn shop like some here suggested it had eight mono inputs and i have allready used them all luckly it has another input for another mixer. it is so great they way it all comes sounds. You have some great stuff here I'll be a custmor for as long as you are here. I got the slink-e because i like to listen to music very loud and the sony cd player that i have always seemed to skip because of the loud music. i placed the cd player in a near by closet and use the slink to do all the controling of the player, i have not had any skips since that! Now i looking at adding another cd player since the 200 changer i have is full. I have been converting the rest of my cd to mp3. Thanks aging for giving me solutions that work.
