Did yo make the device file with EZLearn or by hand (type=IR). If it's an easy learn file, you need to start with a working IR file and the set the carrier to 0. If the latter, just change the line which says
include=sonyir.cde
to
include=sonycs.cde
in either case, you will want to set up your device to be connected to IR port 7 as this is the port which has the Control-S output.
