Put it behind the changer ;?) I'd stongly recommend running a long serial cable instead and having the Slink-e near the stuff it is controlling. You can use a CAT-5 cable with RJ-45 to DB-9 adapters for this. The main reason is that you only need one connection at the PC side and many at the Slink-e side. With you proposed configuration, you may run into headaches each time you want to start using another Slink-e port or I/O pin because you have ran out of conductors on your CAT-5. Just my $0.02...
