So that's what happened! I loaded several things including the covers program and BOOM! No boot. No safe mode. And no way to figure out what went wrong. I had to completely re-image my laptop from the recovery CD and reload everything from scratch. I also reloaded the covers program and ran it with success (didn't know it was the problem). It is very convenient. I guess all is ok now that it loaded and ran fine. Anybody have problems after successfully loading it? Should I avoid running it again?
Amazing how much faster everything runs after a total reload. Also got back some "suspend mode" functions (reload went back to W95)that W98 had hosed.
