DB-25-to-modular expansion port adapter

I apologize if this has been covered before but I didn't see the info anywhere on this site.

With the expansion port adapter you have the ability to run seven IR transmitters and receivers. However, there are only seven jacks on the board so I'm assuming some of the lines are shared.

What do I need to do at the remote end to hook up one of each? Do I justrun the lines to two modular jacks and plug them in? Is it that simple or is there more?
