MP3 library feature, please

Hi Colby and fellow SLinkers -

I too have been in the process of converting many of my CD's to MP3's - particularly my son's collection. (He likes to keep his CD's to himself, but we like most of the music, so we MP3 them to make them accessible all over the house via our home network).

I'm very happy with the MP3 album feature, but have been looking for a way to automate the input of song titles and other details. Since many MP3 files have that data contained in the ID tag (as well as lyrics!), is it possible that CDJ could read that data from the MP3 files as they are added to the database? This would be a godsend in adding lots of files - right now I've got over 1000 MP3 files and that's a lot of input.

Conversly, I suppose I could write an Access routine to update existing track fields with the data, since there are already apps out there that will read a collection of files and catalog the tag data. This might solve the big import problem, but I'd have to do more work every time I added another MP3 album.

Any other users out there have this need?
