As for CD-TEXT, most CD Burners don't support it. I believe the only way to write you own CD-TEXT is to purchase one of the newer SONY CD burners that come with SONY's CD Right software. They support CD TEXT writing. I think you need both the SONY CD Writer as well as the SONY software. A friend of mine loaned me his copy of CD Right, but it did not recognize my Philips unit. ADAPTEC has stated on it FAQ page that they have no plans to support CD TEXT. My guess is that it is a SONY propriatory thing.
