I have a Sony STR-DE525 receiver and a Sony CDP-CX260, along with a
Sharp Boom Box running with a Pentium II 350 win 98, SBLive Value, etc...
I have one hell of an Audio Controller Program I did In Visual Basic with
some c++ add ins' I have complete control of 98% of the buttons and
functions of my equipment. The only function giving me a problem is the
"power_off" for the STR-DE525. It is not an SLink receiver, so I use the
file that I made in E-Z Learn which runs all the rest perfect. I noticed
that when the power button is pressed on the remote, there is an initial
wave form that appears then it changes. Seems like Sony is using a
dual code with power off. I can turn off other sony equipment using
the receiver remote, I am sure this is part of it. I have been unable to
duplicate this command with code. Any help appreciated. I have an Image
of my application, follow the link below. There is over 100 pages of
code so far. The voice interface says the artist name and song title
before each request, The mouth moves when it speaks, and it takes verbal
song requests, and controls all receiver/cd changer functions with voice commands.
(except "Power_Off")Help!!
