problem noted several times, and added my 2 cents into the BBS). This was repeatable.
I have fixed this, but haven't released it yet. It only happens with an empty library. My recommendation: stop doing it for now and build a library instead. >>

Use WinNT and you won't be rebooting when programs crash.... >>
lookup, this finished (~175 discs).
I would save my work at this point, or turn on the library autosave feature. >>
find that exact piece, but did find ampir.cda under Sony. I could not find any info on file naming conventions, but "ir" looked promising. (Perhaps a file naming convention would be a good addition to the help system). Ok, I have now selected my amp. I start up the CD player with CDJ, hit the volume up button, nothing. The volume down and mute buttons were equally as disappointing. After hunting around I did get the Slinke data stream viewer / immediate command execution window up. I had called my amp "amp", so I typed amp:power, and it shut off. Repeated and it came back on. I certianly hope there is a better way to control things than this. I found that you could expand the device list, and see the commands for the devices you have loaded. However, this proved to be quite unsatisfying since as far as I can tell the list won't actuall DO anything. I double-clicked on lots of commands and nothing happened.
It's just a viewer. Certain commands require parameters so double clicking wouldn't be feasible anyway. Please read CDJ | Using Event Maps and CDJ | Automation Interface in the help to understand how the system works. It is very flexible once you understand it. Basically you need to take the extra step of *connecting* the device commands to the toolbar buttons. >>
are you really sure this is related? I have trouble imagining how the one could effect the other. Is the player in program / 1-disc mode? >>
from 45's. The disc memo I had already input to the CD Player months ago was "Guy's 45's 1". So I start this CD playing, and pull up the rating tab of the music info window and notice a "Disc Memo" field. I guess that this is tied to the disc memo in the CDP. I find under the Library tab, a transfer text function. The disc is in slot 146, and that disc is playing, so I select to "Download selected disc memo from player to CDJ", and whala, "Guy's 45's 1" showed up.
By default you transfer disc title text into the player unless you have something in the disc memo field. >> Now the power get's shut off to my PC. I get it powered back up, start up CDJ, and the entire library is
One word: Autosave. >>
attempted the same text transfer and I got a failure. I tried several times but still fail.
