The keyboard is IR, not RF. As far as I can tell (using E-Z Learn), it does not put out IR continuously, but only when I press the keys.
I looked in SlinkeServ for a way to disable the IR receiver (while leaving the IR transmitter operational) but it wasn't completely obvious. Part of the problem is that I'm using the TV as my only display at 800x600 with extra-large fonts, and the SlinkeServ Settings dialog is (a) way bigger than my screen at that resolution, and (b) somewhat garbled (with buttons overlapping pictures) due to the oversized fonts. (Any chance of getting this factored down into several smaller dialogs in some future version?)
I'll try disabling the receiver in code using the lowlevel device functions and see if that helps.
