Mini Emitters, Modular Pins and Mini Mono plugs

Mini IR emitters I see on the web have a mini mono plug (1/8") interface. How do I connect these to the Slinke expansion port (modular pin). I haven't been able to find these adapters or even 4 connector modular pin cables that are through wired (not telephone type) (all the ones I can get at Radio Shack are 8 connector pins for data or 4 connector for telephone). Appreciate any help with store/web site info. Thx -- vatsan
