Re: New user program

The CDJ Reader user program needs some additional files. The notes with it state that you need the Visual Basic V6 runtime files. These can be found with a web search for vbrun60.exe. However the program still needs MSCOMCTL.OCX which is part of the updated windows common controls. There is a second file called MSCOMCT2.OCX which I would assume is also needed.

Once one has copies of these files the chase continues. I now need the latest variant of RICHTX32.OCX

For those of you that have Visual Basic V6 this is all a non issue. For the rest of us it is a problem. Might I suggest that at a minimum the notes for this program be updated to show the full list of additional files involved - and I don't claim to know that yet. Others have helped by sending some files to me but I am reluctant to play chase and ask others to send me the growing list.

Perhaps someone could go read the Visual Basic doumentation and see what it has to say about distributing applications and if there is a core set of files that are needed. If so they could be added to the User Program area as a sepeae download in the same way that Colby added his base requirement files as SYSUPDATE.EXE
