Re: Problem registering Slink-e OCX

Well, I got this problem fixed up; for some reason the REGSRV32 program didn't get installed with Slinkx? I used another version of REGSRV32 with the INSTALL.BAT command and everything registered correctly.

Unfortunately, I'm still having the problem where CDJ fails to detect my players at startup when I'm using the "Use Slink-e through Slink-X" option. This does cause the the Slink-e server to start up and show one Slink-e and one user, but 0 devices. If I then manually go to the CDJ options / Players tab, and choose "Locate now" the players will be located (the Slink-e server device count will increment above 0 also).

Another problem is the "lowlevel" device (referenced in my Pre-Startup event and Shutdown event) is not recognized by the Slink-X control (despite it being one of my loaded devices in CDJ). I get a message like "SlinkX Error (-1): SendEx [22:29:21] lowlevel is not a known device name". Do I need to specify the device somewhere other than CDJ to use it through Slink-X?

If CDJ directly controls the Slink-e (rather than going through Slink-X), neither of these problems occur. The lowlevel device works perfectly, and the players are detected properly at startup. I noticed some other folks having this problem as well on the mailing list, so perhaps it isn't something unique to my setup.
