The (1) plan is definately doable and easy IF YOU ARE A PROGRAMMER. I think Colby distributes a sample amp The TV remote that has all you neeed to know if you are a Programmer. I code in VB and my whole HT is based on a concept as you describe, the only difference is that I use the Philips pronto as the input device since the PC is only used to control the A/V system and HT system. It is very easy to have a VB program talk to slinkeserve and have it send commands to the CDJ application and return responses back to the driving application. if you are a programmer and want some sample code I can probably send you some fragments from my system I bypass CDJ for IR functuions and actually just send low level IR commands directly to the IR controlled devices (Except for the CD player which is on Slink) Responses To This Message
