Slink-e / CDJ Discussion Archive #10 airboard automaton ideas ... anyone?Posted By: Steve Rausch <rauscs@d...> I am using an "aiboard" wireless IR keyboard on my living room / CDJ computer. It has some task-specific keys along the top for volume up, fast forward, play, etc. The airbord resident software allows you to choose what these keys do -either one of a group of selected functions, or you can choose a program to run for each keypress. Question: I would like to use these keys to drive volume up / down on my Yamaha receiver, and playlist play, forward, reverse. The only two methods I have come up with to do this is 1) map keypresses to SOMETHING that will run as a program and send slinke commands / then mapped to IR TX or CDJ commands via maps. 2) Teach IR codes from the airboard (sounds tough) to slinke and drive the map / IR TX. If I can get this to work, basic fuctions could all be done from the keyboard... Thanks in advance for your advice Steve Responses To This Message
