OK, one last time....

A TOC is a TOC if you can read a TOC :). TOCs contain frame (1/75th of a second time unit used in CD digital audio) information about where the tracks are located and how long they are - much like a File Allocation Table (FAT) will tell what sectors or clusters a file is located at and how many bytes it is. The Sony CD player can certainly read the TOC just fine, or it couldn't play the CD properly. The problem is that it doesn't report it via the S-Link interface in full detail (with frame information), and so CDJ does not have a completely accurate TOC representation of the CD. It is sufficient to do a fuzzy-matched CDDB lookup, but not good enough to make a new submission that CDDB would like to accept.
