Anyone know the answer?

I've posted this a couple of times with no response:

I've read the posts that indicate that the CDJ program does not, by design, upload additions and edits to CDDB. And I've read why, although I must admit I don't fully understand the concept behind "frame" information/times (it seems to me that the TOC is the TOC, regardless of whether it is read by a CD player or a CD-ROM). What's the scoop?

It seems a bit self centered for us CDJ users to avail ourselves to the CDDB database without doing our part.
