LCD Controller for Slink-e

I want to use slink-e to build a jukebox and home theater control system. Using a PC + CRT is too noisey and large. A diskless always-on or instant-on approach with LCD hopefullly larger than a pocket PC would be better. Has anyone looked in this direction before?
