The issue is that the 850 does not have slink control, only infra red control. Slinke can deal with it since it deals with IR, however CDJ can not since it requires the slink interface.
I suggest you look at the newer sony changers (860/870) which are due out. I actually sold my 850 since I was so unhappy with its ergonomics. I bought the Pioneer elite DV-F07 which I am very satisfied with, and hopefully they will also come out with a unuit that flips the disks over if they are 2 sided. The DV-F07 handles both IR and RS232 control. I am slowly changing my whole HT to RS232 based control. So far my DVD changer, Pre/Pro, and DSS sat receiver have RS232 control. I am looking at an FM radio.
