Yes, that's probably a good idea... I'll do it next time, I promise :)
Another idea I had was, when returning disks, put them in slots that have been empty for a long time (or never filled). More or less the same principle. I just made the mistake of returning discs into slots that CDJ didn't know were empty. Oops.
