SLink-e & the CDP-CX100

I have an SLink-e v2.0 box and a CDP-CX255 & a CDP-CX100 changer. The CDP-CX255 works great. I have not, however, had any luck with the CDP-CX100. I made a special stereo plug to mono plug cable following the instructions on the CDJ compatibility page and plugged it into SLink port 1 on my Slink-e. However, I notice that even with the power to the Slink-e turned OFF, the power/busy light stays on a constant yellow with the CDP-CX100 connected. CDJ is unable to locate the player.

Any ideas?
