Yes, there are more Delphi programmers out there! Just to let you know, the Slinke ActiveX control works fine here. I use Delphi 4 Pro and W95 (I remember it worked with Delphi 3 as well). I'm working on a Jukebox Program, and haven't done a lot of testing with the Slinke ActiveX because that will be the final stage, but I imported the OCX in Delphi (registered it first with the included batch-file) without any problem. I wrote a small test program which adds one device (cdpcx200sls.cde) and sends some basic commands like 'play' and '`>>|'

This all worked fine for me. I can't tell you why this doesn't work for you offcourse, but at least you know now that it can work, and that the OCX itself is not to blame.
