Is Slink-e what I need?

I have a 4 zone Xantech system using 4 Sony recievers and a shared Sony 200 CD player. I also use HomeSeer home automation software. I think, based on what I have been reading, that an Slink-e with the expansion module will allow me to continue to use my existing Xantech system and also use my PC to control any of the receivers and shared CD player.

Rich is planning to add Slink-e support to HomeSeer in the near future, so I know that interface will work. I've also seen a post or two on a Xantech interface cable, so I am assuming I can run IR out to the Xantech block. Not sure I can go from Xantech IR out to the Slink-e IR in.
