Automating MP3 DB Builds...

I sent in a VB program with source for automating creation of audio file albumbs and populating them with MP3's. It's geared towards the MP3 ripping software I use (Media Jukebox), which names MP3 files with the artist, album, track #, and song title fields. But it would be pretty easy to adapt to other naming conventions.

It seems to work for me, though I'm battling another problem where CDJ crashes whenever it tries to play an MP3, so I haven't managed to test a DB. Looking at the generated DB, though, it looks identical to the CDJ one.

I'm ultra-busy for the next few weeks, so you're on your own with it. But it's relatively clean source, so anybody with VB experience should be fine.
