Did you try the compiled EXE of IrHelper before creating your own compiled one? This one should have worked fine. If not, then I would suspect it is your hardware.

Regarding the sample from Borland for "FILE NEW ACTIVEXFORM", this is to design/create a new ActiveX control - not to just use one. When you use a third party control, you just import the OCX into your library and use it from the palette (as you already did in your app).

I'll try your code in the next day or so and let you know how it goes.
