Slink-e / CDJ Discussion Archive #8 Beta Participants WantedPosted By: ian cole <iancole@e...> I am looking for a limited number of Beta testers for a new product. The "Home Automation Scripting Engine" integrates with a Slinke (via slinkeserv) and provides the following features: Event driven scripting in VBSCRIPT -Full conditional logic -Objects -Persisted states -Access to COM objects -Variables Automatic Device Loading -Optional loading of devices from CDJ options dialog -Loads "cdj / cdjr" devices -Optional loading of "lowlevel" device SOCKETS interface -Control Slinke via slinkx commands -Control CDJ, other devices -DCOM FREE! :>) -Allows control via Linux, Windows CE, Java, etc. Voice Synthesis -Full control over the voice synthesis engine from the script module -My system announces the current track, playlist, etc. This program is designed for individuals that would like programmatic control over their slinke-connected and x10 devices, WITHOUT using Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc. If you have a slinke, but only use CDJ since you haven't felt like writing a program from scratch, this application can provide a quick-start for your automation project. All scripts can be written in a script editor (and debugged in the Microsoft Script Debugger if desired). If you are interested, please reply back with some information about your current system, and how you would like to automate your slinke-based system. Thanks! Ian Responses To This Message
