Slink-e / CDJ Discussion Archive #8 Skipping playlist & CDJ database in Acess 97Posted By: David McCloskey <navitrol@h...> I have a Slink-e 2.5, CDJ 05/22 beta and a CX-300. Anyways, if I add tracks to the playlist and one track's disc is missing from the player, it gets skipped (obviously), but then so does the immediately next track in the playlist whose disc is loaded. The S-Link data log shows the following: [19:33:22] CDJ logging started - Version 1.32 Build 1896 (05/22/00) cdjr:using_player[cd1] cdsls004a:pause_dt[2501] cdsls004a:pause_dt[2501] cdslr004a:no_disc[25] cdslr001:ignored cdslr004a:no_disc[25] cdsls001:pause_dt[7502] cdsls001:pause_dt[7502] cdslr001:ignored cdslr001:pause cdslr001:goto_disc[75] cdsls001:play_dt[4203] cdsls001:play_dt[4203] cdslr001:unloading cdslr001:play cdslr001:now_at_disc[42] The playlist had three tracks... P1 D237 T1 <- disc missing, skipped P1 D075 T2 <- disc present, skipped P1 D042 T3 <- disc present, played This quirk is repeatable on my particular setup and occurs with missing discs in any slot, be it in the 1-200 or 201-300 range. It also happened with CDJ 05/05 beta. Also, is there a way to turn off the automatic database compaction that occurs after I select 'Library->Save All' so that I can open up my ~4MB user.mdb database file in Access 97? Thanks in advance, David McCloskey
