Just an update. NOTE: this has been tested on the CX-300. I've noticed when querying a set of group files as shown in the original posting, sometimes if the first one is 00 (no-group) then it returns all zeros. You should stick with your old way of cdsls001:query_group_discs. Also if you set a disc to no-group the player will display the group graphics but without a number in it, looks funny but it's still treated as no-group, no biggie. And to update you on what I found out on the power-off problem, if you send cdca003:power_off instead of cdsls003: it doesn't cause my CX-205 to toggle back on. This should be an easier fix than rechecking the status of each player before sending a power off signal.
