"No Sink" message from Slinkserve

What causes slinkserve to issue "No Sink" error message? I'm running Slinkserve on my server and CDJ on my laptop. I'm using Windows 2000 and dcom works 99.9% of the time. The only time I have trouble is when I have disconnected my laptop from the network and then run Slinkserve locally and then go back to the network to run Slinkserve remotely (after running dcomconfg and resetting the Nirvis slinke to run on the server). Often, I'll get the "Unable to advise" error on the client and the "No Sink" on the server.

The implemtation of Dcom and Slinkserve on Windows 2000 is quite reliable. I sincerely hope that you do not discontinue Dcom support in future versions without providing an alternative. Hopefully, the "No sink" error may be related to some error checking you need to revisit?
