Offset error in group names

I have the 4/7/00 version of CDJ, the version from 3/29/00 claims to have fixed an offset error in group names. I just got this program so I don't know what it was like before. When I first start up CDJ everything is fine, but as soon as I download any text all my group numbers are off by one. Group one discs come up as two, two as three, and so on. Both groups seven and eight come up as eight. When the deck is queried, the proper ASCII string and corresponding bits are returned.
