Confused - Access 97 etc can't read database

Colby, I am a bit confused by recent postings on the BBS. A number of people have noted the change in database "format". Others say they see no changes. The bottom line appears to be that the database is no longer readable in Access 97. Not can other programs that can read access 97 databases open it.

You have replied that the database did not change but one some field lengths were changed. Have you tried opening you current database with Access 97? Do you use Access and if so what version are you using?

Thanks in advance, and please note that I am confused not unhappy. I still consider my Slink-e/CDJ investment to be an incredibly priced bargain
