Problem with 2 CDP CX350's

I have two cx350's connected as slave and master (cd3 and cd1) to an Slink-e unit. The problem is that CDJ thinks one of the units (master) has only 200 slots. Even if the slots above 200 are populated and a CD played manually, CDJ refuses to budge and thinks the player is paused. Has anyone got any ideas? Please?
