Common Problem with Sony Players?

My Sony Mega Changer CDP-CX220 has a problem with accessing discs after powering up.

When I use the command to "Awaken" CDJ, the player will not track any discs. The player will track the discs if I power it back off and then back on.

Has anyone else seen this problem? This is my second player. I returned the first with the same problem.
