Text output

Hi, I received my SLINKE yesterday and was playing with it last night. Minor problem in trying to use the text download to my CDP-CX250, it didn't seem to work...

I got an error message saying my player doesn't seem to support regular control A-1 commands, and should it use IR codes (or soemthing similar). I said yes, but afterwards only a few discs were marked, and none with very "intelligent" text (kind of garbled).

Has anybody else done this with this player? There is something in the "bugs fixed" list about this player, but I'm not sure what it's referring to.

Also, what a happens when CDDB comes up with the wrong Id. (I had 3 out of 200) for the disc, is the only option to manually change it?? (seems like that to me,but I wondered if there was some was to force another CDDB search to present possible alternatives...).

Minor problems aside, another happy customer!
