S-Link is a bus architecture. This means that every deivce on an S-link chain can see all the others. What is happening to you s that you have essetiallty hooked up both of your changers to 2 of the Slink-e ports. Just disconnect one of the Slink-e connections and all should be fine. The master-slave config is fine with the CX300 series players. Just make sure the MegaControl switch is off.
