slinkx, process problems...

...I'm working on updating cdjasp, and I've hit a stumbling block right off. At this point all of my equipment is upgraded to win2000, and it seems to have broken the communications between the asp page and the slinkx object.

Even basic stuff, like

set oSlinkx=Server.CreateObject("SLINKX.SlinkxCtrl.1")

iResult=oSlinkx.Connect()

hangs the web server proecess. I'm running this after logging into the console and starting CDJ and slinkeserv, as I always have. It seems to do no better even if I don't log in and start slinkeserv beforehand.

Oddly enough, just creating the slinkx object works fine, but the connect (or the implicit connect if I do AddDeviceText) causes the hang. No error messages or anything.

Any ideas?
